To minimize noise pollution caused by transportation, Konya Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the USK Single Sided Double (RW) Aluminum Noise Barrier, supplied by Uşaklıgil, in the residential areas along Abdulhamid Han Avenue.

Uğur Çalışkol, Project Director of Uşaklıgil Noise Barriers, stated that this project was carried out due to the high noise levels caused by road traffic in the area. He emphasized that background noise measurements have been adjusted to bring the noise levels down to a more livable standard for residents.
